The root tag of the file is not found.
Notice! This page describes the nature of the error using a hypothetical example and not the erroneous data of the input test file. You should however be able to apply this information to your error case.
Error description:
The root tag of the file is not found. There could be several reasons for this, e.g.:
- The content of the file is not XML (XML example as defined by W3).
- There is a redundant xml declaration (for example: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>) in the file. Precisely one xml declaration must be present on line 1 so that the file is well-formed according to xml specifications.
- Selected payment file is unsuitable for selected pipe. For example pain.001.001.02 based file with e-invoice pipe or e-invoice message with sender info pipe.
- There are extra characters in the beginning of the file. For example "aaa<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Error message given by the service:
"Start tag expected, '<' not found"
